Historically, our initial dataset focused on sit-down restaurants inside core delivery ZIP polygons that matched early OpenStreetMap and press snapshots—which is why many awesome neighborhood counter-service spots, cafes, bakeries, food trucks, and suburban corridors were missing.

Our Transparent 4-Point Criteria to Be Listed (100% Free):

  1. Real Public Food Establishment: Any operating sit-down restaurant, counter-service spot, taqueria, bakery, cafe, or stationary food truck/pop-up open to the public in our covered metros (Metro Atlanta, South Florida, NYC, SF Bay Area).
  2. Verifiable Street Address & ZIP: Must have a real street address and coordinates within a covered metro ZIP code.
  3. Zero Pay-to-Play (100% Free): No restaurant can ever pay to be listed, ranked, or boost a score.
  4. Open for 5-Pillar Community Scoring: Every listed spot starts at 0/10 KYC and unlocks its numerical 5-Pillar Score as soon as 10 KYC-verified diners rate it (learn how Diner KYC works →).
